Q1. What specifically is the difference between APTOS thread lifting and regular thread lifting (PDO)?The most decisive difference lies in the ‘high-end properties of the material’ and the ‘unrivaled traction of the protrusions’. The PDO ingredient used in general thread lifting has a very short retention period of less than 6 months, and the thread is stiff, so a foreign body sensation may be felt. On the other hand, Aptos uses P(LA/CL) new material, which is a composite process of PLLA, a self-collagen regeneration material that is the same as the ingredient used in the luxury skin booster Juvelook, and Caprolactone, which gives flexibility.

Precautions after treatment
Approximately two weeks after the procedure is the most important time for the thread and skin tissue to organically combine. Avoid opening your mouth too wide when yawning or chewing food.
For 2 to 3 days after the procedure, it is a completely normal recovery process to feel mild throbbing pain or stiffness at the injection site, or a stiff foreign body sensation when touched.
To prevent the thread from being pushed to one side or causing asymmetry, you should avoid sleeping on your side or stomach.
In very rare cases after the procedure, you may feel that a part of your skin is pricked like a needle or that you are touching the end of a thin thread. This is a mild symptom that occurs during the temporary process of the thread being seated, and usually disappears naturally as the tissue softens within 2 to 3 weeks.
